RELN 3100 - Religion and Social Justice (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: ENGL 1101 or permission of instructor This course examines the relationship between issues of social justice and the role of religion (socio-cultural ideas on and practices related to the sacred) in guiding social groups toward more just and humane societies. Social justice issues such as peace, poverty, oppression, discrimination and the environment are considered through religious responses to these issues.
