READ 3900B - Supervised Practicum for Teaching Writing

Prerequisite: Admission to the Education Preparation Program
Co-requisite: READ 3900A
This course is a semester-long faculty-supervised practicum in a school setting. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, and effective use of instructional strategies, as well as provision of a positive and academically challenging learning environment for all students. Candidates will plan and implement writing strategy lessons and plan and conduct individual writing conferences to support student writers.
