HIST 3150 - US Economic History (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: ENGL 1102 and completion of history requirements in Area E of the Core Curriculum A study of the macroeconomic elements in the historic growth of the United States from colonial to recent times, including the use of human and natural resources. An analysis is made of such evolutionary institutions as corporations and labor unions, as well as the changing role of government, technological innovations, competition, agrarian/industrial pioneering and other issues in the development of America.
