PHYS 3210 - Dynamics (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: PHYS 3010 with a minimum grade of a C Co-requisite: MATH 3100 Particles and rigid bodies that are moving with respect to a reference system. Kinematics deals with motion in terms of displacement, velocity, and acceleration. Kinetics includes the effect of forces on particles and bodies. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: describe the linear, circular and general motion of particles; compute the kinematics of particles due to forces; describe the linear, circular and general motion of rigid bodies; and compute the kinematics of rigid bodes due to forces.
