POLS 2601 - Introduction to Public Administration (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: POLS 1101 This course is a survey of the field of American public administration. It is designed to provide students with a general overview and introduction to the development, concepts, facts, functions and generalizations concerning the public administration system in the United States. It includes the study of the legislative, executive and judicial branches of the U.S. government, governmental agencies, non-governmental agencies, non-profit agencies and their interconnection in the policymaking and policy implementation process.
