POLS 3550 - Public Policy Process (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: POLS 1101 and ENGL 1102 with a grade of C or better or permission of the instructor Examination of the major theoretical approaches to the study of public policy at all levels of government. The course focuses on critical elements of the policy process such as the definition of public problems, agenda setting, policy formulation, policy implementation, oversight and policy change. Selective public policy issues will also be examined in detail.
