PSYC 3310 - Human Sexuality (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: PSYC 1102 ; PSYC 2000 or PSYC 2010 ; PSYC 3301 ; or permission of instructor for non-psychology majors. This course examines the biological, psychological, and sociological aspects of human sexual behavior. Theoretical and empirical findings, as well as current, personal, and social implications of human sexual behavior will be addressed. Topics include historical and international perspectives of human sexual behavior, variations in sexual behavior, deviance, social patterns, assessment and treatment of sexual disorders. The role of public policy and its legal implications will be covered.
