Biology Minor
An understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of biology afford greater career flexibility and opportunity for non-biology majors in a highly competitive and increasingly interdisciplinary job market in both STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and non-STEM fields. The purpose of the Biology minor program is to provide non-biology majors with a background in the fundamental concepts and principles of biology for application in non-biology careers, such as chemistry, mathematics, informational technology, engineering, psychology, business, and technical/science writing.
