CJCR 4720 - Constitutional Law: Civil Liberties and Civil Rights (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: CJCR 1100 , CJCR 3200 and ENGL 1102 with a “C” or better Cross-listed with: POLS 4720 This course focuses on constitutional protections of liberty and equality, including protections that stem from principles of substantive and procedural due process. Subjects typically covered in the course include equal protection, freedom of expression, rights to privacy, the right to free exercise of religion and the prohibition of laws respecting an establishment of religion.
