FINA 3400 - Public Sector Economics (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: ECON 2100 or ECON 2106 or Permission of Instructor Cross-listed with: ECON 3400 This course investigates how government spending and taxation impacts individuals, markets and the economy in general. It covers the different methods used to evaluate these government policies and aims to increase students’ awareness of the impacts of current policies. The spending policies covered include education, social security and health insurance with revenue policies include income, property and corporate taxes.
