ESNS 4750 - Envrionmental Toxicology 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: BCHM 3100K or BIOL 3500K
Cross-listed with: BIOL 4750
Students who have successfully completed the course will: 1) describe dose-response relationships; 2) describe absorption, distribution, storage, biotransformation and elimination of toxicants; 3) describe the chem dynamics of contaminants in the environment including fate and transport; 4) perform risk assessment; 5) describe methods to test and regulate hazardous substances.
