HUSE 3600 - Conflict Resolution (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: HDAS 2000 or HUSE 2000 and ENGL 1102 or permission of instructor This course examines techniques for the identification, analysis, and resolution of interpersonal and organizational conflict. Students will explore theories for analyzing conflict in diverse settings while building the necessary skills to engage in conflict intervention. A social justice framework will be utilized to help students deconstruct conflict and to understand how to help disputing parties find agreement. A significant portion of the class will take place in an experiential environment as students participate in conflict simulations and other activity based assignments.
