(3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: BIOL 3200K; BIOL 3400K A study of current topics and issues in biotechnology. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: (1) explain commonly used biotechnology techniques and their application; (2) explain the major types of biotechnology including forensic, medical, microbial, agricultural and animal biotechnology; (3) discuss the ethical issues related to applications of biotechnology.
