PSYC 3020 - Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences (4) Credit Hours Prerequisite: PSYC 1102 and MATH 1401 This course is designed as an introduction to the descriptive and inferential statistical methods used in psychology and provides students with the basic tools for evaluating data from studies in the behavioral sciences. Topics include basic descriptive measures of central tendency and variability; hypothesis testing; testing for differences between means, and correlation and measures of association. The applications of basic statistical concepts are emphasized.
