HIST 4850 - Digital Humanities

Prerequisite: ENGL 1102 and (ITEC 2110 or ITEC 2120) and any two from the following: HIST 1111 HIST 1112 HIST 1121 HIST 1122 HIST 2111 HIST 2112. All courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.
This class will introduce students to the theories, practices, and technologies used in the digital humanities broadly, with a specific focus on their uses for historians. This course will provide students with a foundational understanding and hands-on experience with different approaches and technologies for collecting, analyzing, preserving, and representing human experience and endeavors.
