Instructional Adaptations for Secondary Teachers focuses on methods of instruction for multilingual learners and students with exceptionalities. MAT candidates will build skills for planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating differentiated teaching to create challenging learning environments for all students. Specific attention will be paid to the historical treatment of multilingual students and students with disabilities in public education, inclusive classroom instruction, Universal Design for Learning, and meeting the needs of Gifted students.
