Chemistry Minor Requirements | ||||
Course Name | Credit Hours | Term Taken | Grade | Gen Ed |
---|---|---|---|---|
CHEM 2211K - Organic Chemistry I with Laboratory | (4) Credit Hours | |||
Note: Duplicated credit rule: Organic Chemistry I and II (CHEM 2211K and CHEM 2212K )can count as duplicate credit toward both the minor in chemistry and toward the student’s other degree or program at GGC. Once course in the minor at the 3000/4000 level must be unique to the minor and not already be required/selected course in the major. This course would count in the elective area of that major. All students minoring in chemistry, including non-science majors must take Principles of Chemistry I and II (CHEM 1211K and CHEM 1212K ) for Area D. A student majoring in a field outside of the School of Science and Technology must choose those courses for Area D and not a different course sequence. Students are responsible for meeting all prerequisite requirements for the chemistry courses that they choose to take for a chemistry minor. A minimum grade of “C” or better must be earned in all of the courses. | ||||
