The Biomedical Sciences Certificate for Career Changers is designed for students who have obtained their non-science baccalaureate degree but need to complete science pre-requisite courses to apply to health profession programs.

Students who earn this certificate will have the coursework necessary to allow them to apply to various health professions programs including medical, dental, pharmacy, veterinary, physical therapy, and physician assistant programs.

These courses may require certain prerequisites which may be fulfilled by prior academic courses taken by certificate-seeking students.  To expedite this, the Biomedical Sciences Certificate for Career Changers program coordinator will be the point of contact for students interested in the program.  The coordinator will work with the Biology Chair of Studies to determine any prerequisites needed by certificate-seeking students.
