Return to: Programs of Study
There are three ways to obtain this minor including completion of one of the following: 1) our Honors Program requirements, 2) a minor of study currently in demand for a Georgia Business; 3) a student-initiated program to prepare for post-graduate studies or a specified profession. In each case, the student must complete 15-18 hours of study towards this minor, with at least 9 hours at the 3000/4000 level as outlined by the specific minor plan. Hours taken within Area A-E may not be counted toward the minor. Up to 6-9 hours may be within Area F. with the remaining 9 hours (out of 15-18) at the 3000/4000 level. 12-15 hours may be within the major area of study, as required courses or electives, but at least 3 credit hours of the minor must not be counted toward the student’s major program of study. Furthermore, students outside the Honors Program will not be eligible for this minor unless they gain approval for the outlined coursework before completion of 50% of the credit hours. Please see the Director of the Honors Program or the Director of the Bachelor Integrative Studies for further details.
