Biomedical Sciences Certificate for Academic Enhancers

Return to: Programs of Study
The Certificate Program for Academic Enhancers is designed for students who have obtained their baccalaureate degree but need to complete additional upper-level coursework to apply to health professions programs.
Students with the completed certificate will have taken advanced coursework necessary to support their application to various health professions programs including medical, dental, pharmacy, veterinary, physical therapy, and physician assistant programs.
These courses may require certain prerequisites which may be fulfilled by prior academic courses taken by certificate-seeking students. To expedite this, a Biomedical Certificate program coordinator will be the point of contact for students interested in the program. The coordinator will work with the Biology Chair of Studies to determine any prerequisites needed by certificate-seeking students.
