I. Purpose and Policy Statement

GGC adheres to Board of Regents Policy Manual 3.2 Faculties.

II. Scope

This policy applies to all GGC employees.

III. Faculty Membership

See Board of Regents Policy Manual 3.2.1.

IV. Corps of Instruction

See Board of Regents Policy Manual Section 3.2.1.1.

V. Administrative Officers

See Board of Regents Policy Manual Section 3.2.1.2. A faculty member who has academic rank and rights in the Corps of Instruction and who accepts an appointment to an administrative office, other than President, shall retain the responsibilities and privileges of faculty membership, their academic rank, and rights as an ex officio member of the Corps of Instruction, but shall have no rights of tenure in the administrative office to which they have been appointed.

VI. Other Faculty Members

See Board of Regents Policy Manual Section 3.2.1.3. Georgia Gwinnett College has filed with the Office of the Board of Regents a list of administrative offices which have ex officio faculty status.
