GEOG 2201 - World Regional Geography (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: ENGL 1102 ; and either GEOG 1101 or GEOG 1111 This course surveys different geographical regions of the world. It introduces the regional concept in geography which emphasizes the spatial distributions and interactions of culture, history, economy, population and environment. The world is viewed as an interdependent community built of regions and countries. World Regional Geography examines a world that is undergoing various transformations at many different spatial scales.
