NURS 3030 - Professional Nursing I

Prerequisite: Admission to the nursing program
Co-requisite: NURS 3000, NURS 3020,NURS 3011
This course assists students in understanding the roles and scope of practice of the professional nurse. Concepts including client rights, confidentiality, ethics terminology, health promotion, patient education, evidence-based practice, and professional organizations will be explored. Students will begin to develop their professional portfolio as part of this course.
