HSPH 4040 - Public Health Program Planning (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: PSYC 3420 , HSPH 4000 HSCI 3010 Co-requisite: HSCI 3050 and (BIOL 4750 or ESNS 4750 ) can be take concurrently if not taken prior. The Public Health Program Planning course is designed to give the student a hands-on experience with the development of targeted interventions. Through a service-learning project that will carry over into their Capstone course, the students will work with public health professionals to design an intervention using evidence base and theoretical foundations in intervention planning. This course will utilize the Precede-Proceed model of intervention development.
