HIST 4860 - Oral History

Prerequisite: Select 1 from the following: (HIST 1111 HIST 1112 HIST 1121 HIST 1122 HIST 2111 HIST 2112) and ENGL 1101
Students learn to do oral history (interview and plan a project); interpret spoken narratives about the past and use such evidence to create historical works in written and digital formats. The course covers the evolution of the genre, ethical and legal issues.
