ENGL 4880 - Visual and Digital Rhetoric

Prerequisite: Successful completion of ENGL 1102 and ENGL 2801 with a grade of "C" or better
his course studies the relationship between images, digital technologies, and rhetoric and their effects on the values, attitudes, beliefs, and actions of audiences. The course engages concepts from classical and modern rhetoric to consider topics including human-computer interaction, social media, graphic design, media literacy, and genres such as memes, games, and virtual/augmented reality.
