MIS 4620 - Systems Analysis and Design for Managers (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: (MIS 3100 or BUSA 3100 or ITEC 2201 ) and (ITEC 2120 or ITEC 2140 ) and ITEC 3200 and (MGMT 4220 or MIS 4220 ) Includes the concepts, methodologies, and techniques involved in information systems design and analysis. Presents an overview of information systems and the systems development life cycle for the systems analyst/manager. Course emphasis focuses on tools and techniques used to document information systems. Presents students with real-world system analysis skills and techniques within the framework of the systems development life cycle (SDLC). Examples and cases are drawn from actual systems projects that enable students to learn in the context of solving problems, much like the ones they will encounter on the job.
