GEOG 3310 - Historical Geography

Prerequisite: ENGL 1102 and GEOG 1101 both with a grade of C or better
This course is concerned with the geographies of the past and with the influence of history in producing the geographies of the present. The underlying concept is that a landscape and the cultures in it can only be understood if the relevant factors (physical, cultural, economic, technological, etc.) throughout history are considered.
