HUSE 4500 - Senior Capstone (3) Credit Hours Prerequisite: (HUSE 2010 or ENGL 2010 ) and permission of instructor Through a range of experiential learning activities, such as guest speakers, writing resumes and cover letters, and ePortfolio projects, students will prepare for employment and graduate school in their fields of study. This course is designed to help students integrate and reflect on their learning throughout their major, to develop personal, professional, and academic goals, and to produce competitive application materials. Interpersonal communication skills, such as interviewing techniques and networking, as well as strategies for managing workplace demands, such as dealing with mental health issues, conflict, and burnout, are also emphasized.
