The Creative Writing minor is designed to complement a variety of majors interested in learning the craft of writing. Students will complete an introductory course that expose them to craft conventions in fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, and scriptwriting. Afterwards, students have the opportunity to complete focused study utilizing writing workshops and related techniques in at least two of these genres. Other coursework options provide learning on writing as a profession and grammar.
