I. Purpose and Policy Statement

Georgia Gwinnett College’s Financial Aid Policies and Procedures Manuals provide comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure the College’s financial aid practices are sound and in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and good financial management practices. These manuals were provided to and approved by the U.S. Department of Education as a requirement for the College to be eligible to provide federal financial aid to its students. These are updated at least annually and are provided as requested as part of regular fiscal audit and compliance reviews. 

Because of the length of the policies and procedures, they are not included as part of the Administrative Policy Manual. The Financial Aid Office Policies and Procedures Manuals are available in the Office of Financial Aid Services.

II. Scope

This policy and the policies and procedures set forth in the Financial Aid Policies and Procedures Manual apply to all GGC faculty, staff, and students.
